K-Tec Systems sponsors many events and teams in Michigan for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) to encourage and inspire students for the next generation.
In October 2018 K-Tec Systems hosted Oakland County high school students on Manufacturing day at Michigan facility. K-Tec Systems engineering and technical teams explained to the students different types of design and manufacturing processes. Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) were provided by NXT-Step Technologies.
K-Tec Systems sponsors Lawrence Technological University Formula Electric car to help compete at Formula Hybrid competition that takes place each spring at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, NH. The competition is part of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Collegiate Design Series, and is regarded as the most complex and dynamic of the series.*
