Digital 24-Channel Rakes
Self-contained 24-channel rake systems for simultaneous multipoint velocity measurement, with interchangeable stings and custom geometries.
Simultaneous Multipoint Velocity Measurement in One Instrument
A digital 24-channel rake provides 24 independent, true-differential pressure measurements, plus absolute static pressure, local fluid temperature and humidity, from a single self-contained package. Data processing software converts the pressures from any probe head configuration into three velocity components.
Stings are interchangeable, from three 7-hole probes to 24-point total pressure rakes, and individual probe and rake geometries can be custom designed. For fixed total pressure rakes see Kiel rakes.

More Than a Probe Supplier
K-Tec Systems manufactures the sensing and cabling around the probe in Ferndale, Michigan, so one U.S. team can support the whole measurement chain, from thermocouples and RTDs to wire harnesses.
Manufactured and supported in the U.S.
K-Tec Systems builds custom thermocouples, RTDs, wire harnesses and test stands at our Ferndale, Michigan, facility. The probe, the temperature sensing and the cabling can be specified together, with one U.S. team behind the order.
Flow and temperature at the same point
K-Tec thermocouples and RTDs can be integrated into compatible probe designs, so total pressure and temperature are measured at the same location.

Digital 24-Channel Rakes: Frequently Asked Questions
How is a digital rake different from a Kiel rake?
A Kiel rake measures total pressure at several points across a defined area. A digital 24-channel rake adds integrated sensors and electronics and, with multi-hole heads, resolves three velocity components. See Kiel rakes for total pressure rakes.
Which probe heads can be fitted?
Three 7-hole probes, six 4-hole probes, omnidirectional probes, or a 24-point total pressure rake. Stings are interchangeable.
Can the rake geometry be customized?
Yes. Individual probe and rake geometries can be custom designed to match your test article.
How does it connect to a data system?
Over USB or a 5V-tolerant UART, with adaptors for CAN, UDP Ethernet and others.
How do I order one?
Contact K-Tec Systems with your test article, flow speed and the number of measurement points. Configuration, lead time and price are confirmed at quotation.
